Core Responsibilities
- Equipment Sterilization & Maintenance:
Wash, rinse, dry and sterilize laboratory glassware, metal instruments, and specialized equipment. - Lab Sanitation:
Clean and disinfect workstations, sinks, tables, and floors according to Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) standards. - Waste Management:
Safe handling, labeling, and disposal of chemical, biological and hazardous waste in compliance with environmental regulations. - Inventory Control:
Monitor and maintain inventory levels for washroom supplies, cleaning agents, and lab materials. - Record Keeping:
Document sanitation activities, equipment logs, and inventory status accurately. - Other duties as assigned.
