** GENERAL PURPOSE
** An Operations Technician 2 is part of our pay for skills program and allows individuals to continue to build skills providing opportunity to increase their compensation. Individuals at Level 2 have accumulated 3-4 skill blocks. Skill blocks may include skills in Assembly, Machine Operation or Material Handling.
** ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
*** Individuals with Material Handling skills receive, store, and pull raw and finished goods through the facility in a safe, accurate and timely manner, along with the proper part tracking.
* Performs additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.
* All employees in safety-sensitive positions, including Powered Industrial Vehicle (PIV), are subject to additional pre-employment and ongoing drug and alcohol testing throughout their employment.
** QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Experience  One of the following is required:
* High school diploma or its equivalent (GED for example)
* Work experience which demonstrates performance competency

Skills and Abilities

* Competent in basic math skills such as counting, adding, and subtracting.
* Ability to work cooperatively within the team as well as with members of other teams to meet goals.
* Demonstrated willingness to adapt to a continually changing environment.
* Required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms for the duration of the shift.
* Ability to regularly lift and move up to 10 lbs, frequently lift and move up to 60 lbs.
* Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
* Required to talk and to be able to hear and see with or without correction.
