Join a Growing Manual Machine Shop Serving the Oil & Gas IndustryTotal Machining Solutions is seeking an experienced Manual Lathe Machinist to join our team in Spring, Texas.
Since 2005, we've specialized in manufacturing OEM-quality replacement components and performing critical repairs that help keep drilling rigs and oilfield equipment operating. We are looking for a skilled manual machinist who enjoys working on large parts, challenging repair work, and the variety that comes with a true job shop environment.
This is a manual machining position—not CNC.

What You'll Be DoingAs a Manual Lathe Machinist, you will:
- Set up and operate manual engine lathes
- Machine OEM replacement parts for the oil and gas industry
- Perform precision repair work on large industrial components
- Read blueprints and machine parts to required specifications
- Measure finished parts using precision inspection tools
- Work safely around large work pieces and heavy equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Support production schedules by working overtime when needed

What We’re Looking ForRequired Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience operating manual lathes
- Strong manual machining skills
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and work independently
- Physically capable of handling large parts and working around heavy equipment
- Willingness to work overtime as production demands require
- Commitment to quality workmanship and safe work practices
- Experience working in a job shop environment
- Experience machining large industrial or oilfield components
- Oil & gas manufacturing or repair experience
