We are seeking an experienced Manual Horizontal Boring Mill (HBM) Machinist to join our growing team in Spring, Texas.

Since opening in 2005, our shop has specialized in manufacturing OEM-quality replacement components and performing critical repairs that help keep drilling rigs and oilfield equipment operating. This is a hands‑on manual machining position for an experienced machinist who enjoys working on large, challenging components in a true job shop environment.

Please note:

This is not a CNC machining position.

• Set up and operate manual Horizontal Boring Mills (HBMs)
• Machine and repair large OEM replacement components
• Read blueprints and manufacture parts to required specifications
• Perform precision machining on large work pieces
• Verify dimensions using precision measuring equipment
• Work safely around large material handling equipment
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Work overtime when production schedules require

• Manual Horizontal Boring Mills (HBM)
• Large manual machining equipment
• Precision measuring tools including calipers, micrometers, and indicators
• Material handling equipment for large work pieces

This position primarily supports customers in the:

• Oil & Gas
• Industrial Equipment
• Heavy Repair

• Minimum 5 years of experience operating a manual Horizontal Boring Mill (HBM)
• Strong manual machining skills
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and work independently
• Physically capable of handling large components and working around heavy equipment
• Willingness to work overtime as needed
• Strong attention to quality and safe work practices

• Experience working in a job shop environment
• Experience machining or repairing large industrial components
• Oil & gas industry experience
