CNC Machinist/Operator (Afternoon)
We are seeking experienced CNC Machinists/Operators for our production shop specializing in the manufacturing of pipes, valves, and flanges (PVF). This role involves working with pre-loaded programs, indicating parts, and touching off with longer runtimes on larger parts with wide open tolerances, primarily using carbon steel and occasionally stainless steel.
Responsibilities- Operate CNC machines to produce large parts such as flanges, elbows, and fittings up to 48" to 60" in size.
- Perform set-ups with minimal edits using G code.
- Operate VTL using Fanuc controls, managing two machines simultaneously due to long run times.
- Handle machining of similar parts daily, varying primarily in size.
- 5+ years of experience in CNC machining or CNC operating.
- Proficiency with VTL (Vertical Turret Lathe) and G code.
- Experience with Fanuc controls.
- Knowledge of machining carbon steel and stainless steel.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with horizontal boring mills (HBM).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Familiarity with Siemens controls and vertical mills.

Work Environment
Work in a large, renovated manufacturing shop equipped with OH and jib cranes at each machining station. The shop is open-air, non-climate controlled, but has large fans for air circulation. It is a diverse environment with communication in English, Spanish, and Vietnamese. The role requires wearing steel-toed boots, jeans, a work shirt, and safety glasses. The 2nd shift runs from Monday to Friday, 4:00 pm to 1:00 am, with occasional Saturdays based on production needs.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Spring, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $28.00/hr.
