Total Machining Solutions  is seeking an experienced  Manual Lathe Machinist  to join our team in Spring, Texas.

Since 2005, we've specialized in manufacturing OEM-quality replacement components and performing critical repairs that help keep drilling rigs and oilfield equipment operating. We are looking for a skilled manual machinist who enjoys working on large parts, challenging repair work, and the variety that comes with a true job shop environment.

This is a manual machining position—not CNC.

- What You'll Be Doing

As a Manual Lathe Machinist, you will:

Set up and operate manual engine lathes

Machine OEM replacement parts for the oil and gas industry

Perform precision repair work on large industrial components

Read blueprints and machine parts to required specifications

Measure finished parts using precision inspection tools

Work safely around large work pieces and heavy equipment

Maintain a clean and organized work area

Support production schedules by working overtime when needed

- What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

Minimum  5 years of experience  operating manual lathes

Strong manual machining skills

Ability to read mechanical drawings and work independently

Physically capable of handling large parts and working around heavy equipment

Willingness to work overtime as production demands require

Commitment to quality workmanship and safe work practices

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in a job shop environment

Experience machining large industrial or oilfield components

Oil & gas manufacturing or repair experience
