Overview

The Digital Marketing Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing digital channel programs for ABS, increasing brand awareness, developing a robust community of clients by promoting company products, services or events, and driving prospects to conversions through appropriate technology platforms. Part of a cross-functional Digital Marketing and Media Relations team, this role reports to the Digital Marketing Manager and coordinates email marketing lists, event workflows, and paid search campaigns and publishes content to multiple digital channels to drive effective customer-facing experiences and elevate the ABS brand.

The Digital Marketing Specialist is to have a proven track record working with digital marketing channels, as well as a depth of hands-on experience using digital tools to easily deliver digital tactics without any technical assistance.

What You Will Do
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop communication plans that utilize email automation and marketing platforms, social media channels.
  • Leads the strategy, execution, and continuous optimization of all Google Ads and paid search initiatives to drive traffic, SEO initiatives to drive organic growth, improve search rankings, and maximize visibility across digital channels.
  • Monitors and evaluates trends, data, usage, competitors and market/business conditions; recommends and executes on approaches to improve effectiveness of ABS digital marketing strategies.
  • Executes email campaigns, event registration forms, and event landing pages, working closely with Strategic Marketing Managers. Supports digital team with deployment across channels, including the corporate website, email campaigns, press releases, blog posts, paid display/search advertising, and interactive media.
  • Creates and maintains email marketing lists and segments to ensure database health and targeted communication. Provides cross-functional digital marketing support with the corporate website, content management system and email marketing.
  • Innovates with new digital marketing tools and tactics to offer new and compelling content or media or digital channels.
  • Supports consistency of message across multiple channels.
  • Adheres to digital privacy compliance regulations on projects.
  • Collaborates with the Digital Marketing Manager, business units and other staff functions to advance ABS marketing automation, social media practices and programs.
  • Builds positive relationships across the organization that foster a strong work environment.
What You Will Need

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Advertising, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience related to communications or public relations.
It Would Be Nice If You Had

Google AdWords certification or Google Analytics certification preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Digital Marketing experience with an organization with global operations.
  • Hands-on experience using marketing automation software, event registration platforms, and Google Ads management tools. Enterprise social media software, including enterprise marketing automation software, Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, webinar platforms, and enterprise content management systems.
  • A sound working knowledge of elements within MS Office is required. Expertise creating Excel reports and PowerPoint presentations to communicate metrics and ROI.
  • Experience with segmentation, list management, Google Ads, and campaign execution SEO, Google AdWords, Google Analytics, or enterprise content management systems is required.
  • Strong interpersonal and team skills.
  • Ability to develop a working knowledge of ABS Rules, Guides, statutory regulations, and related instructions, as well as the ABS Employee Safety Policy.
Reporting Relationships

Reports to a Manager level position and has no direct reports.
