Alliance Marketing Manager, AMD - North America (Houston, TX)
This role is hybrid with an expectation to work from an HPE office in Houston, TX on average 2 days per week.
Job OverviewHPE is seeking a North America Alliance Marketing Manager to lead the development and execution of the alliance marketing plan for North America, ensuring brand consistency and alignment with global priorities.
Key Responsibilities- Lead cross‑functional teams to achieve strategic alignment between alliance partners and internal sales and marketing functions, collaborating with WW/NA HPE and AMD leads.
- Build and support the execution of a full‑funnel, strategic marketing plan and budget for North America, ensuring all activities align with partner priorities and guidelines.
- Act as a strategic adviser on alliance partner MDF, branding and messaging guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with cross‑organizational teams to integrate and communicate quarterly marketing plans, hosting quarterly reviews of key stakeholders on outcomes and performance.
- Align with GEO vertical sales leaders to ensure effective activation and execution of North America marketing activities.
- Maintain marketing governance for strategic activations.
- Present, train and enable HPE sales, customers and partners, including technical design presentations and technical background training.
- Own continuous enablement and training for Tech Live and the DSR team in Houston, covering a minimum of 3 days per week in office.
- Focus on growing the AMD number and assist with AMD days on the floor to support initiatives.
- BA or BS in Marketing or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 7+ years of marketing experience, including offering marketing, segment marketing and partner marketing; agency, sales and/or channel experience a plus.
- Expert knowledge of marketing principles, practices, tactics and tools.
- Expert knowledge of offering, segment, partner and account‑based marketing.
- Expert knowledge of advertising/direct marketing/research vendor practices and procedures.
- Well‑developed understanding of the industry, offering categories and company strategy.
- Strong project and budget management skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication, including presentation skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiating and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to build, manage and influence virtual teams and interface effectively with all levels of management and functional disciplines.
- Strong influencing and consensus‑building skills.
- Technical background with ability to train.

Hybrid role: on average 2 days per week from the HPE Houston office; additional presence supported for training and technical enablement.
CompensationAnnual salary: USD 92, (Texas).
