We're looking for a Corporate Media Relations Manager who is motivated to build new and deepen existing relationships with high-profile business and financial journalists while developing and implementing thoughtful 360-audience communication strategies for corporate initiatives.

We are seeking a savvy, proactive corporate media relations professional who understands how to build and maintain business media relationships, creates external messaging that resonates, and can develop media campaigns that position the company positively over time. In this role, you'll have a passion for mining for stories across the enterprise and helping ensure they remain top of mind with external audiences.

This role is pivotal in managing and enhancing HPE's business media relationships while also contributing to a variety of corporate communications initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in media relations and corporate communications, with the ability to engage effectively with top‑tier business media and internal stakeholders, including senior executives.

• Serve as a primary point of contact for business and national media inquiries, responding to journalists as a company spokesperson while proactively promoting HPE's corporate narrative.
• Support the execution of media relations strategies for milestone corporate events, such as quarterly earnings and investor days, with major business and financial media.
• Develop and implement strategic public relations programs, including corporate announcements, trend pitches, media events, and executive visibility opportunities.
• Advance and advocate for HPE's company story by fostering and maintaining strong relationships with key corporate media outlets and journalists.
• Create story angles and pitches; write corporate articles and other externally published materials; and draft key messaging points, media materials, and executive briefing documents.
• Regularly analyze relevant media trends and provide perspectives and insights that strengthen communications planning and execution.
• Contribute to the development of media engagement skills among our senior executives and spokespeople, helping to facilitate media training and ongoing guidance.
• Continually identify potential HPE spokespeople across the enterprise.

• Translate complex technology, AI, networking, cloud, and business transformation topics into compelling stories and narratives.
