Overview
Position: Seasonal-Grounds Help
Duty Days: 45 days - June 1 to July 31
Schedule: 6 A.M. – 4:30 P.M. – Monday to Thursday;
Friday off
Salary: $14.37
Responsibilities- Pick up trash and clean grounds.
- Edge and mow all areas.
- Hoe, prune, weed and water grounds.
- Empty outside trash barrels.
- Plant shrubs, trees and grass as directed.
- Maintain proper drainage on all campuses.
- Assist other personnel as needed.
- Dress according to the department dress code.
- Perform all other duties assigned.
- Report to Coordinator of Grounds.
- Maintain emotional control under stress.
- Moderate irregular hours.
- Works with frequent interruptions.
- Preparation of materials may involve the packing, moving, and lifting of equipment and supplies.
- Continuous walking and standing.
- Work outside and inside; exposed to extreme temperatures, dust, fumes, and odors. Exposure to mechanical, electrical, and chemical hazards.
- Work around moving objects and vehicles.
