Veterinary Technician Supervisor

Overview

Blue Pearl Specialty + Emergency Pet Hospital in Spring, TX is looking for a Veterinary Technician Supervisor with passion and the ability to help motivate, engage, and train a team of veterinary professionals.

We have an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to be a leader in a dynamic team of veterinary professionals. The ideal candidate will be excellent at training and mentoring, will have advanced veterinary skills, and will contribute to a dynamic work environment with exciting medical cases and opportunities for career development. The role requires excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.

• Serve as a mentor to lower-level staff by demonstrating positive work habits, effective clinical skills, and business knowledge.
• Coach team members to anticipate and address patient and client needs, and seek assistance with escalated, stressful situations.
• Work with hospital leadership to organize technician and assistant meetings.
• Organize training schedules for Technician staff.
• Identify conflicts in the workplace and seek assistance in resolution.
• Provide feedback to leadership and work to develop performance improvement plans.
• Other related duties as assigned.
