Wage: $27.00 - $32.00/hour

8am-8pm Monday-Friday

QPS is seeking a Safety Coordinator for our client in Spring, TX. Join a leading company as a Safety Coordinator, where you’ll play a critical role in protecting employees, strengthening safety programs, and shaping a culture where safety comes first.

This role is responsible for promoting a safe and healthy workplace by developing, implementing, and monitoring safety programs, ensuring compliance with OSHA standards, and fostering a strong safety culture across the organization.

• Develop and maintain safety programs aligned with OSHA and ISO 45001 standards
• Conduct routine safety inspections to identify and mitigate hazards
• Investigate accidents and incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
• Deliver employee safety training (PPE, emergency response, safe work practices)
• Maintain accurate documentation for incidents, inspections, and training records
• Partner with leadership and employees to promote continuous improvement in safety culture
• Stay current on regulations and industry best practices
• Interface with regulatory agencies and external safety vendors
• Supervise Safety Technician

• At least two years of safety coordination experience
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and compliance
• Certifications preferred: CSP or CHCM
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Ability to frequently stand, walk and lift up to 50 lbs
