Sales Associate

Role Overview: As a Sales Associate, you will create a welcoming environment for pet parents and their pets by providing knowledgeable assistance, maintaining store cleanliness, and supporting pet safety and care. You will help customers select products, process transactions, and ensure the sales floor is organized and appealing. Your focus will be on delivering excellent customer service, fostering teamwork, and supporting store operations in a fast-paced retail setting.

• Support pet health and safety, sharing accurate product and pet care info.
• Create positive shopping experiences and build customer loyalty.
• Assist with product selection, sales, returns, and stock replenishment.
• Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and visual standards.
• Engage with customers, process transactions, and support store promotions.

• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred but not required.
• Passion for animals and interest in pet care.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and multitasking skills.
• Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a dynamic environment.

The role involves active engagement on the sales floor, frequent standing, and interaction with animals and customers. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required. The position offers opportunities for growth and meaningful, purpose-driven work in a supportive team setting.
