Learn a skilled trade while helping a growing shop deliver a great customer experience.

Black Optix Tint – Spring is looking for a dependable, motivated team member to help cover the front of the store, keep the shop prepared, and learn window tint installation.

This is a hands-on position with variety. You may greet customers and help with scheduling, prepare vehicles and materials for an installer, or practice tinting under an experienced technician’s guidance. No prior tinting experience is required—we value initiative, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.

We’re growing an automotive restyling and window-film business serving Spring and Greater Houston. Our services include automotive and architectural tint, detailing, ceramic coatings, paint protection film, wraps, car audio, and accessories.

We take pride in quality work, professional customer service, and a team that collaborates and helps one another improve.

• Greet customers, answer calls, and respond to inquiries professionally.

• Learn our services and help customers understand their options using approved pricing and information.

• Assist with appointments, customer check-in and checkout, follow-ups, and sales records.

• Keep the garage, front office, tools, and supplies clean, organized, and ready for upcoming jobs.

• Restock materials and help prepare workstations and vehicles.

• Assist installers with preparation, cleanup, and other tasks as trained.

• Learn automotive window tinting through supervised practice, including glass preparation, film handling, installation techniques, and quality checks.

• Help create photos, videos, and social media content showcasing our work.

• Communicate with coworkers and take initiative during slower periods.

• A friendly, professional attitude and comfort speaking with customers.

• Reliability, punctuality, and consistent availability.

• Attention to detail and respect for customer vehicles and shop equipment.

• Willingness to clean, organize, and handle routine preparation work.

• Interest in learning tinting and other automotive services.

• Ability to accept feedback, follow instructions, and collaborate with coworkers.

• Basic computer skills and comfort learning scheduling and customer-management tools.

• Ability to perform hands-on work involving standing, bending, and handling supplies, with reasonable accommodation as needed.

Customer service, retail, sales, detailing, or automotive experience is helpful but not required.

• Part-time schedule; please include your available days and hours when applying.

• Saturday availability is preferred.

• Hourly pay based on relevant experience.
