$10.00 to $14.00 per hour

We are seeking entry‑level, full‑time sales associates in our nationwide pawn store locations. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire staff to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business. They greet, engage, and interact with customers in a positive, professional manner to process sales, loans, and other transactions. The Associate handles a wide variety of merchandise, including jewelry, tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more.

The position offers an hourly wage plus commission based on productivity. Pay is determined by location, qualifications and experience.

• Greets and interacts with all customers to develop rapport and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Performs non‑management open/close procedures.
• Maintains a clean, stocked sales floor and displays merchandise.
• Executes sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies, procedures, practices and regulatory requirements.
• Handles all cash and negotiable items per established policies.
• Answer incoming calls following company standards.
• Clarifies legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
• Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers.
• Collaborates with all employees to create a positive customer experience.
• Completes assigned training.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must perform duties and tasks for extended periods (standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting). (In accordance with applicable law.)
• Capable of working with firearms and obtaining firearms certification.
• May be asked to assist a customer outside the building or retrieve products from exterior storage areas.
• Minimum age 18 years old.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Strong desire to work, serve customers, and be team‑oriented.
• Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proficient in basic math calculations.
• Preferred: cash handling experience.
• Willing to work multiple locations as business needs dictate.
• Willing to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and common office machines.

Commission Plan Information

The employee commission incentive plan is proprietary. Pawnbrokers can earn 2–8% commission, based on gross profit of their personal performance. Further details are provided during the interview.
