MEMCO is looking for EXPERIENCED sheet metal installer in Spring to start on 03/16/2026
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Mechanic for a short-term, one-week assignment. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, read blueprints, and perform high-quality sheet metal installation and fabrication in a school.
Badging will be needed before spring break
Responsibilities:
- Install, fabricate, and assemble sheet metal components (ductwork, fittings, etc.)
- Read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings
- Measure, cut, bend, and fasten sheet metal using hand and power tools
- Ensure work meets safety and quality standards
- Coordinate with site supervisor and other trades as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a sheet metal mechanic
- Strong knowledge of HVAC ductwork and sheet metal installation
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must have own basic hand tools
- Reliable transportation to job site
- OSHA 10/30 preferred (or willingness to comply with site safety requirements)
