Austin Industrial provides premier self‑perform maintenance, construction, and soft craft service to leading industrial companies across the U.S. The Instrument Fitter will install, remove, and maintain instrumentation used to measure and control variables such as pressure, flow, and temperature.

• Read and work from related blueprints and schematic drawings.
• Install and/or remove various instrumentation devices.
• Apply comprehensive knowledge of pneumatics, electronics, and electricity.
• Cut, bend, and install pipe tubing or conduit for the installation of air or process lines for instrument controls.
• Install instruments, instrument stands, and control wiring to valves and stroke valves to verify operation.
• Install and calibrate recorders, alarms, switches, and other devices.
• Steam trace lines when necessary.
• Install flanges and orifice plates.
• Perform troubleshooting and other duties necessary for instrumentation devices.
• Maintain current electrician's license or identification card to meet state regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.

• 4 years of Journeyman level experience.
• NCCER certification.
• Valid driver’s license.
