Mobile Maintenance Mechanic

Job Summary

The Mobile Maintenance Mechanic supports operation, inspection, and maintenance processes for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment and systems across assigned facilities. The role includes assisting in maintenance and repair efforts, performing inspections and repairs to interior and exterior property areas, and completing various maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical, painting, and tenant service requests.

• Maintain lighting system bulbs and ballasts
• Assist the operations team in the maintenance and repair of building and equipment
• Complete general interior maintenance – hang pictures, install keyboard trays, repair office furniture systems
• Perform minor plumbing repairs
• Complete special tasks including painting, locksmith work, tenant service requests, and general maintenance as assigned
• Move office furniture, machinery, equipment, and other materials as requested
• Perform assigned facility inspections and due diligence, reporting findings that affect client occupancy and operations
• Be on call for after‑hours emergencies
• Comply with safety procedures, maintain good housekeeping, and identify hazards to propose elimination methods
• Maintain compliance with State, County, or City ordinances, codes, or laws
• Ensure safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials per company policies
• Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational training programs
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Document work performance and procure materials as directed
• Work independently or as part of a team in a self‑motivated manner
• Complete other assigned operational tasks typical for a Maintenance Mechanic role

• Lift a minimum of 80 lbs, use ladders up to 30 ft, and possess mechanical and electrical aptitude
• Frequently climb, bend, kneel, and lift
• Drive long distances throughout the designated portfolio
• Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written

• 3+ years of applicable working experience in general building repair and maintenance, basic plumbing, and basic electrical
• Valid state driver's license

• Completion of an applicable technical training program
