CCS
100 is an optimization tool under development in Client’s Low Carbon Solutions (LCS) that improves investment and operational decisions for the US Gulf Coast Carbon Capture & Sequestration (CCS) system currently under construction. The tool adjusts CO2 flows, individual site rates, and project startup times, maximizing system-wide value while maintaining commercial and technical system constraints.

• As part of the CCS
  100 Fusion Team, help build tools that optimize investment and operational decisions in the world-class, scalable carbon capture system that LCS is building in the US Gulf Coast
• Implement the user interface for a modern cloud-based web application that will allow the users to maximize the insights from CCS
  100 model results
• Collaborate with the CCS
  100 Product, Design, and Modeling teams to incorporate stakeholder input and deliver a product that meets the needs of the CCS organization

• Work with UI/UX designers and CCS
  100 product managers to build and improve full stack web applications
• Create tests, integrate APIs, and optimize application performance, across both frontend and backend technologies
• Work with sister teams to format, retrieve and display data
• Build scalable, modular, and reusable code, following proper coding and architectural standards

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering; alternatively significant practical software project experience
• 5+ years of combined experience in software development focused on full stack, enterprise grade development
• In-depth knowledge of Type Script/JavaScript. Extensive experience with Modern Frontend Frameworks. Experience building and scaling Backend frameworks (Express/Spring/.NET) and Database Connections. Experience with Cloud Infrastructure
• Practical experience with reactive programming concepts (async/await, RxJS) and State Management solutions
• Experience in developing user interfaces that contain complex visualizations and user interactions
• Experience with Cloud Infrastructure
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD Pipelines (Github Actions/Jenkins)
• Adaptability to rapidly changing priorities and an ability to deliver work on time
• Good technical communication and collaboration skills; experience working in Agile teams

• Experience in building user interfaces, specifically NextJS
• Experience with JS Based Backends, specifically NestJS
• Experience using and maintaining infrastructure in Azure
• Experience building analytics software platforms that include heavy data visualization components
• Full stack software development skills, with experiences building application back ends
• Previous project experience with Python or Palantir’s Ontology SDK
