Job Summary
This role is responsible for developing new software solutions and services using cloud software development techniques. As a part of the software cloud engineering team, the role designs, builds, and manages cloud systems and infrastructure—including software, services, and solutions—designed for flexibility, scalability, and resiliency to support current and future business needs in an automated, repeatable way.
Responsibilities- Works with the software engineering team to identify and implement the most optimal cloud-based solutions for the organization.
- Plans, designs, and develops cloud-based applications.
- Manages cloud environments in accordance with the organization's security guidelines.
- Deploys and debugs cloud initiatives as needed in accordance with best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Partners with Dev Ops to develop tooling and infrastructure for cloud development and cloud operations use cases, focusing on microservices deployment and distributed systems monitoring and fault analysis.
- Executes work using a Test‑Driven Development (TDD) approach, supporting continuous integration and continuous deployment patterns.
- Develops processes for enforcing cloud governance, architecture, operating procedures, monitoring, and system standards.
- Responds to incidents, owns them, drives them to completion, and participates in root‑cause analysis.
- Solves difficult and complex problems with a fresh perspective, demonstrating good judgment in selecting creative solutions and managing projects independently.
- Leads moderate to high‑complexity projects, delivers professionally written reports, and supports the realization of operational and strategic plans.
- Four‑year or graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience or demonstrated competence.
- Typically 4–7 years of work experience, preferably in distributed and cloud computing, software and cloud design, programming languages, agile development methodologies, or a related field; advanced degree may be paired with 3–5 years of experience.

Salary and BenefitsThe pay range for this role is $105,050 to $161,800 USD annually and applies to United States candidates only. Pay varies by work location, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience.
