This role has been designed as “Onsite” with expectation to work primarily from an HPE office.

Job DescriptionThe position is with the Product Security Office Team within the Cybersecurity and Digital Risk Management organization. Responsibilities include coding and user support for the DevID service – a key component of the HPE Factory Build process providing PKI certificates.
Candidate must be a US Citizen or hold a Green Card. The role works across the US and Taiwan. Requires support during USA hours and night/weekends as needed. Code development will be with the DevID Architect/Software Development Lead on new functionality, revisions, bug fixes, and test automation.
Typical day: attend DevID meetings, respond to internal/external emails, provide user support, develop/maintain code and automated tests.
Job Responsibilities- Follow HPE processes for defect life cycle, build/release requirements.
- Follow current team coding standards, document and implement enhancements in development, test, integration.
- Participate in defining and finalizing product strategy and spec requirements for new DevID product functional needs.
- Provide POC and demonstrations to finalize requirements using HPE design tools.
- Provide weekly status reports on schedule tasks.
- Maintain quality focus and attention to detail.
- Ask questions and provide feedback on strategy or issue resolution.
- Demonstrate assertiveness and self‑drive to complete tasks with minimal guidance.
- Explain complex technical concepts at all levels of HPE management.
- 4+ years of applicable and documented technical experience in GoLAN code development/maintenance, including CGo build constraints, interface design, and standard library crypto stack.
- Experience maintaining GoLAN‑based REST microservices issuing X.509 DevID certificates.
- Java and C code development/maintenance for legacy code.
- Applied cryptography experience: X.509 certificate chains, RSA, ECC; exposure to post‑quantum algorithms (ML‑DSA, ML‑KEM, CRYSTALS).
- PKCS#11/HSM experience, including key objects, handle vs label semantics, partition management;
Thales Luna experience a plus. - Integration with HSMs for RSA and ML‑DSA key operations, including partition management and key label conventions.
- TPM 2.0 fundamentals: EK certificates, AK, attestation flows using go‑tpm, wire format.
- Experience with containerized Linux production target:
Docker, nginx, systemd debugging. - Cybersecurity mindset and familiarity with CNSA
2.0 requirements for PQC algorithms. - Experience with MariaDB, MSSQLServer, MongoDB for certificate and artifact tracking.
- Git Hub repository experience and CI/CD pipelines via Git Hub Actions, Docker multi‑stage builds, and container registry deployment workflow.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or equivalent work experience.
- Citizenship or Green Card (US) requirement.
- At least one year of experience with DevID standards (IEEE
802.1AR). - Familiarity with go‑attestation or go‑tpm.
- Experience with application observability set up and practices.
- Familiarity with HPE hardware (servers, storage, switches).
- Familiarity with AI usage in product spec definition, code development, validation test, and code security monitoring.

CompensationAnnual salary USD
111,500–211,500 (Colorado) or 106,000–243,000 (Texas). Variable incentives may also be offered.
