Sr. React Native Mobile Developer

Job Description

A client in Houston, TX is looking for a Senior React Native Mobile Developer, you will design, build, and maintain enterprise mobile applications that support mission-critical business operations across iOS and Android platforms. You will collaborate closely with Product Managers, UX Designers, Backend Engineers, Security teams, and QA resources to deliver scalable and secure mobile solutions. Daily responsibilities include developing reusable and maintainable application architectures, integrating REST and GraphQL APIs, implementing authentication and authorization frameworks, optimizing application performance and battery consumption, and enhancing offline synchronization capabilities.

You will also troubleshoot production issues, participate in code reviews and Agile ceremonies, mentor junior developers, and contribute to architectural decisions that drive long-term platform scalability and reliability. Based on knowledge and years of experience, this position offers a pay range of $50-60/hr.

Skills and Requirements

7+ years of software development experience, including 5+ years with React Native.

Strong React Native, JavaScript/Type Script, Redux/Context API, and mobile architecture expertise.

Experience with OAuth 2.0, OIDC, PKCE, JWT, and enterprise authentication platforms (Azure AD/Entra , Auth0, Okta, MSAL).

Proven experience building offline-first applications with synchronization, conflict resolution, and local databases.

Deep understanding of iOS and Android lifecycle, native integrations, secure storage, and mobile security best practices. Experience implementing push notifications using FCM and APNs.

Expertise with GPS, geofencing, map integrations, and location-based services.

Experience with Firebase, monitoring tools (Crashlytics, Sentry, App Insights), and real-time technologies such as Web Sockets or Signal
