Mercer Technical Services (MTS), a Quanta Services company, is seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Spring, TX (The Woodlands area).

This role is ideal for a recent college graduate who majored in Supply Chain Management/Logistics or someone with a background in trucking or transportation dispatch who is looking to leverage their experience in a dynamic and growth-oriented environment.

• Coordinate logistics operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
• Communicate effectively with truck drivers, carriers, and customers to ensure smooth execution of transportation plans.
• Negotiate rates with carriers and service providers to achieve optimal cost and efficiency.
• Generate and manage shipping documentation and coordinate all aspects of the shipping process.
• Track shipments from origin to destination, providing updates to stakeholders and resolving any issues that arise.
• Collaborate with team members to identify and implement process improvements.
• Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving any operational issues promptly.

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management with a focus in logistics, highly preferred
• 0-3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or a related field, with specific experience as a dispatcher, preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency in using logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to negotiate effectively and build relationships with carriers and customers.
• A proactive problem-solver with keen attention to detail.
