Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic Job Coach to join our team at Guardian Managed Care Solutions, a division of Charles Taylor TPA. This role will provide Service Coordination to participants referred to Workforce Services by the Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities office. The position requires residence in the Springboro, OH area.
Essential Functions- Understand the Americans with Disabilities Act, how to request an accommodation, and required interactions with individuals who have disabilities.
- Have good social and communication skills, patience, and time management skills.
- Demonstrate confidence, honesty and reliability with the ability to carry out professional code of ethics.
- Be comfortable using computers and basic office software (Word, Excel).
- Be goal‑oriented and highly organized.
- Provide on‑site job coaching and teaching to individuals with disabilities, including:
- Contact or meet with participants on or off site to provide on‑the‑job supports.
- Implement hands‑on and/or supportive guidance to ensure participants successfully retain secured positions and learn job duties.
- Ensure participants comply with program and employment requirements, reporting any significant issues to the VRC.
- Model professional behavior and teach employment‑related soft skills.
- Complete legible, well‑written reports on each case as specified by the VRC.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Preferred knowledge in working with people with disabilities.
- Must have a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation and be willing to travel.
- Must have excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities.
