The Goddard School in Springboro seeks a responsible, dependable, motivated and caring full‑time Lead Teacher for our Preschool program. Our state‑of‑the‑art 20,000‑sq.‑ft. facility features 10 classrooms, a half‑court gym, a gross‑motor room and three separate playgrounds.
Responsibilities- Follow state and Goddard regulations
- Manage the classroom using developmentally appropriate practices
- Collaborate with assistant teachers to implement lesson plans in academic and enrichment subject areas
- Communicate with parents
- Maintain an aesthetically pleasing classroom environment
- Perform physical tasks up to 25 pounds, remain active, bend, stoop and sit on the floor as required
- Minimum 1 year experience in a center or group setting
- Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or higher, CDA preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Creativity and strong work ethic
- Positive energy and enthusiasm for early childhood education
- Teamwork and customer‑service orientation
