Infant Lead Teacher

Overview

The Goddard School in Springboro is seeking responsible, dependable, motivated and caring individuals for a full-time lead teacher position in our Infant program. Our facility is a state-of-the-art 20,000 sq. ft. building with 10 classrooms, a half-court gym, gross motor room and 3 separate playgrounds.

• Follow state and Goddard regulations and implement developmentally appropriate practices in classroom management.
• Work with assistant teachers to implement lesson plans in academic and enrichment subject areas.
• Communicate with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities.
• Maintain an aesthetically pleasing and organized classroom environment.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a center or group setting; CDA or Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, creativity, strong work ethic, and positive energy and enthusiasm for early childhood education.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds, sustain a high level of activity, and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and sitting on the floor.
• Focus on teamwork and customer service.
