Preschool Lead Teacher

The Goddard School in Springboro is seeking responsible, dependable, motivated and caring individual to be Lead Teacher in our Preschool program. Our facility is a state‑of‑the‑art 20,000 sq. ft. building with 10 classrooms, a half‑court gym, a gross motor room and 3 separate playgrounds.

Job requirements include following state and Goddard regulations:

• Successful classroom management using developmentally appropriate practices.
• Working with assistant teacher to implement lesson plans in academic and enrichment subject areas, parent communication, and maintaining an aesthetically pleasing classroom environment.
• Candidates should be able to lift 20 pounds, sustain high level of activity, bend, stoop and sit on the floor.
• Candidate must have at least 1 year of working in a preschool or group environment and having a CDA Credential is a plus.
• Candidates must possess excellent communication skills, creativity, strong work ethic, positive energy and enthusiasm about early childhood education.
• Focus on teamwork and customer service required!
