Job Title
RF Calibration Technician
Job DescriptionAs an RF Calibration Technician, you will calibrate inspection, measurement, and test equipment across various disciplines, including acoustical, dimensional, RF/microwave, mechanical, optical, and more, ensuring accuracy and compliance with specifications. You will maintain calibration standards and equipment, perform basic maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on precision instruments, and collect and record data during calibration processes. You will also identify equipment that is out of tolerance, make necessary adjustments or repairs, detect and correct measurement errors when needed, and prepare calibration reports and certificates.
Responsibilities- Calibrate inspection, measurement, and test equipment in various disciplines to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications.
- Maintain calibration standards and equipment.
- Perform basic maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on precision instruments.
- Collect and record data during calibration processes.
- Identify equipment that is out of tolerance and make necessary adjustments or repairs.
- Detect and correct measurement errors when needed.
- Prepare calibration reports and certificates.
- 5+ years of Calibration Technician experience.
- Experience calibrating RF (Radio Frequency) Test equipment.
- Ability to troubleshoot, repair, align, and optimize precision equipment.
- Experience working with oscilloscopes, power supplies, and electronic loads.
- Experience using/testing RF equipment such as spectrum analyzers, signal generators, network analyzers, power meters, and frequency counters.
- Proficient in general math and algebra functions.
- Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
Skills & Qualifications
- Battery testing.
This position is based in laboratory/testing and industrial manufacturing environments. The schedule is 1st Shift Monday through Friday. There is a 20% travel requirement once converted to direct‑hire, primarily local travel to customer sites. Physical demands include the ability to lift up to 45 pounds without assistance. The role offers a collaborative team environment with customer interaction and opportunities for learning and working with a wide range of equipment and technologies.

Pay And BenefitsPay range: $29.00 - $33.00/hr.
