Logistics Analyst

Job SummaryThe Logistics Analyst evaluates logistics data to ensure accurate reporting, consistent replenishment, and reliable shipment performance. By analyzing trends across inventory, transportation, and warehouse activities, the analyst helps prevent disruptions, supports decision‑making, and drives improvements in cost, service, and operational visibility.
Responsibilities- Collect, clean, and analyze logistics data, including replenishment activity, shipment transactions, inventory levels, route performance, and transit times.
- Track, report, and optimize shipment transactions for raw materials and finished goods.
- Analyze logistics operations to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and cost‑saving opportunities.
- Develop and implement optimization strategies focused on cost reduction and process improvement.
- Monitor end‑to‑end product flow from raw materials to finished goods, including procurement, inventory, warehousing, distribution, and delivery.
- Coordinate and execute replenishment strategies to prevent stockouts and reduce excess inventory.
- Build and maintain dashboards, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), reports, and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with vendors, carriers, warehouse teams, and internal stakeholders.
- Recommend and implement logistics process improvements and automation by leveraging creative problem‑solving and innovative thinking.
- Identify opportunities for operational enhancement through continuous evaluation of logistics workflows.
- Respond quickly to fulfillment and service disruptions or deviations, applying strong problem‑solving skills to propose and execute corrective actions.
- Support budgeting, cost modeling, and scenario planning to enable effective decision‑making.
- Adhere to federal and state regulations.
- Adhere to all company policies, processes, and procedures.
- Performs other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
- Predictable and reliable attendance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in logistics, supply chain or operations experience.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
- Strong proficiency in Excel with experience using Business Intelligence (BI) and analytics tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Experience with logistics systems, including Transportation Management Systems (TMS), Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platforms.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work under pressure.
- Familiarity with regulations, import/export, and trade compliance.
- Decision Making & Analysis: Makes sound decisions based upon a mixture of data‑driven analysis, expertise, experience, and judgment; collects relevant information, seeking input from others, and identifies connections and/or root causes of problems
