Machinist

Role Overview

Kodak is seeking a skilled machinist. Expertise in working on Manual Machining Equipment.

Responsibilities:

* Read blueprints/drawings to determine specifications and requirements necessary to create a quality work piece.

* Verify quality of work piece using measuring instruments, such as calipers, gauges, & micrometers.

* Experience operating one or multiple manual machines including:
Lathe, Mill, OD Grinder, , Surface Grinder, or Gear Hob

* Perform daily maintenance of equipment and maintain a clean working environment.

Required Skills:

* High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.

* Know machining concepts related to speeds/feeds as they apply to different material types.

* Understand the basic features required for setting up a part.

* Ability to use basic math and understand geometric concepts.

* Be able to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing.

* Overtime and Saturday may be required as workload dictates.

Estimated Salary: $25.00 - $28.00
