Springboro Veterinary Clinic is Hiring an Experienced Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant!
Position DetailsRole: Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant Status: Full-time Salary: Negotiable and based on experience Schedule: Monday - Friday 8 am - 6 pm and every other Saturday, 8 am - 12 pm

- Triage patients and obtain thorough histories, vitals, and patient assessments
- Assist veterinarians during exams, treatments, and procedures
- Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care from intake through discharge
- Prepare and administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed
- Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, fluid therapy, and sample collection
- Obtain high-quality radiographs and maintain imaging standards
- Run in-house laboratory testing including CBCs, chemistry panels, urinalysis, cytology, and fecal testing
- Monitor anesthesia and patient vitals during procedures while maintaining accurate records
- Practice Fear Free and low-stress handling techniques
- Educate clients regarding medications, discharge instructions, preventive care, and treatment plans
- Maintain clean, stocked treatment and exam areas while following infection-control protocols
- Collaborate with the team to maintain efficient workflows and exceptional patient care
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
- Previous veterinary technician or veterinary assistant experience
- Strong patient care and technical skills
- Excellent communication and client service abilities
