The Shift Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily store operations, supporting and guiding team members, and ensuring an exceptional guest experience during assigned shifts. This role combines leadership, hands-on participation in food preparation and service, and accountability for food safety, cash handling, and workplace standards. The Shift Manager helps maintain a clean, organized, and efficient environment while coaching and developing team members to achieve operational excellence.

• Supervise and support store crew across all workstations during shifts, directing shift operations when the General Manager or Assistant Manager is absent.
• Lead and train employees, open and close the store, ensure all food preparation is complete, and manage employee breaks and shift changes.
• Perform all crew member tasks when needed: makeline, cut table, oven monitoring, packaging, order accuracy, and guest service.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment.
• Monitor product quality and take corrective action when needed.
• Coordinate with Drivers and the Manager to ensure efficient and timely deliveries.
• Manage cash handling procedures and balance registers accurately.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and guidance to team members to build skills and improve performance.
• Assist with training new team members and setting clear expectations.
• Handle shift-related issues with professionalism and strong problem-solving skills.
• Communicate effectively with team members and guests to ensure smooth operations.
• Multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment while maintaining focus on guest satisfaction and product quality.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required food handler certifications.
• Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Basic math and computer skills for cash handling and reporting.
• Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 10 hours per shift).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant operations, preferably in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation regulations, and kitchen operations.
• High School or better.
