Buckeye Fabricating Co. is in search of a Technical Sales and Account Manager in our sales department. Buckeye is an entrepreneurial family owned business located in Springboro, Ohio. This position has the best of both worlds with less than 5% travel annually.

Primary

Job Duties:

This position includes account management, cost estimating, building client relationships, and business development. You will work with existing customer accounts as well as build new relationships to drive new sales opportunities. You will be helping clients in a consultative role to determine technical solutions. You will also interpret product drawings and specifications to determine total cost of production and develop price quotations by estimating the materials and labor needed to manufacture said products.

You will be involved in setting prices and margins according to our guidelines. As part of the Technical Sales and Account Manager role you will follow your jobs through engineering design and manufacturing, assisting the customer with questions and updates as needed.

This role requires client relationship building which in turn requires an unforgettable and professional presence in all written and spoken communication. You must be able to communicate clearly and concisely with a client focused mindset. The role requires a lot of multi-tasking.

Qualifications &

Skills Required:

Ability to understand technical specifications and fabrication drawings
Enjoys multi-tasking and is detail oriented
Engineering or manufacturing background preferred
BA/BS Degree in Technical field not required but preferred
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office / Excel
Experience with Salesforce is desired but not required
Project Management skills to follow sold projects through to completion
Background and Interest in marketing is desired
