The role will provide Service Coordination to participants referred to Workforce Services by Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities office. The person will implement the company mission and abide by all Charles Taylor Policies and Guidelines, as well as those identified by the referral source, to ensure that participants receive timely, efficient, and quality services.

Understanding of the Americans with Disabilities Act, how to request an accommodation, and what is required to work with individuals who have disabilities including basic disabilities knowledge.

• Have good social and communication skills, patience, and time‑management skills.
• Demonstrate confidence, honesty and reliability with the ability to carry out professional code of ethics.
• Knowledge of the use of computers and basic office software (Word, Excel).
• Be goal‑oriented and highly organized.
• Provide on‑site job coaching and teaching to individuals with disabilities, including:
• Contact or meet with participant on site or off site to provide on‑the‑job supports.
• Implement hands‑on and/or supportive guidance to ensure that the individual successfully retains the position secured and learns position duties.
• Assure that the participant is compliant with the program, employment requirements, and report to the VRC any significant issues.
• Model professional behavior and teach employment‑related soft skills.
• Complete legible well‑written reports on each case in accordance with requirements specified by the VRC.

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Preferred knowledge in working with people with disabilities.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation and willingness to travel.
• Must have excellent communication skills and problem‑solving abilities.

$18 – $22 per hour
