Yard Person - CDL A 1st Shift

We are actively seeking a Yard Person CDL A to join our 1st shift at our Springboro, Ohio Plant starting at 6:00 AM and working until the work is done.

Yard Persons CDL A are responsible for assisting in the safe handling of products from the production areas to yard storage, and for ensuring a smooth and safe flow of products from storage onto trailers for shipment to job sites. Responsibilities include stripping products, yarding products, loading products on trailers, storing products out in the yard, and operating trucks and company equipment.

• CDL A Required
• One year experience in the pre‑cast/pre‑stressed concrete industry preferred
• Ability to work outdoors
• Valid driver’s license required
• Certified equipment operator a plus; travel lift and/or tow motor a plus
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently

• Assist in hooking up products for loading and unloading
• Strip yard products from forms
• Store products out in the yard
• Operate company equipment to move material, load and unload trucks, and other duties as assigned
• Use hand signals to escort equipment operators for setting, lifting or maneuvering production pieces during loading/unloading
• Operate electronic handheld scanners for verification of production pieces during storage
• Gather shims, steel blocks, homosote, rack pins, and wood blocking at start of shift for the day’s production
• Approximately 10% of the job involves driving; the remainder is yard‑person duties
