Brunner & Lay is a long-standing manufacturer serving the mining and construction industries. We are seeking a Branch Warehouse Coordinator to oversee branch warehouse operations, manage inventory, and support customer and OEM requirements.

This role works closely with Manufacturing, Sales, Customer Service, Purchasing, and Accounting to keep operations running smoothly at the branch level.

Position Summary

The Branch Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for inventory control, order processing, logistics coordination, OEM support, and branch administration. This person ensures accurate stock levels, timely order fulfillment, and clear communication between the branch, manufacturing, and customers.

This is a hands-on operations role requiring strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Key Responsibilities Warehouse & Inventory Management

Oversee daily branch warehouse operations.

Monitor stock levels and collaborate with manufacturing on replenishment.

Perform inventory adjustments, cycle counts, and audits.

Maintain accurate inventory records and proper stock rotation.

Advocate for branch inventory needs with the Springdale manufacturing team.

Support warehouse layout and organization for efficiency.

Order Processing & Customer Support

Process orders and maintain complete order documentation.

Initiate and track deliveries.

Issue and manage Return Goods Authorizations.

Set up new part numbers and demo part numbers.

Process credits and re-invoice when required.

Track warranty registrations and installation documentation.

Respond to customer inquiries related to inventory, delivery, and product issues.

Communicate realistic delivery timelines and potential delays.

Place and manage OEM orders tied to customer purchase orders.

Coordinate with manufacturing regarding demo tool schedules.

Ensure demo orders are completed on time.

Serve as the branch advocate for demo order fulfillment.

Communicate with Sales and Customer Service leadership on OEM matters.

Process freight claims with carriers.

Work with Purchasing and Accounting on claim resolution and write-offs.

Approve and code vendor invoices.

Branch Administration

Support building maintenance and utility invoice processing.

Assist management with tracking time off at the branch level.

Provide coverage for branch roles when needed.

Monitor company forklift fleet inventories.

Generate required operational reports.

Order supplies and sales materials.

Qualifications

Required

High School Diploma or GED.

Experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, or branch operations.

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Proficient in basic math and data tracking.

Clear written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred

Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.

Knowledge of steel fabrication or mechanical products.

ERP or inventory system experience.

Work Environment &

Physical Requirements

Industrial manufacturing environment.

Exposure to machinery, heated materials, and elevated noise levels.

Temperatures in the work area may exceed 100°F.

Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs with assistance or material handling equipment.

Required use of appropriate protective equipment at all times.
