Regulatory Compliance Specialist
Job Summary
The Hiring Specialist is responsible for delivering a welcoming and informative onboarding experience, maintaining scheduling and compliance, and managing the end-to-end hiring process. This role requires a deep understanding of plant operations, job descriptions, and compliance requirements. The Hiring Specialist collaborates with the Talent Acquisition (TA) team, Occupational Health Services (OHS), Learning Team, and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless onboarding process for new hires.
Key Responsibilities- Scheduling and Tours:
Deliver engaging plant tours and onboarding experiences; maintain updated scheduling for tours, drug screens, and orientations; manage PPE during tours; communicate orientation details and handle no-show processes. - Onboarding:
Complete job interest forms and assist with job offers and self-; conduct background checks and confirm personal information; upload required forms and complete required surveys; disposition candidate’s post-offer; complete validations for new hires and job changes. - I-9 Compliance:
Maintain I-9 compliance, including audits and corrections; ensure new hires complete Section 1 of the I-9 on time; review work-eligibility documentation and complete Section 2; conduct weekly I-9 audits. - Additional Duties:
Notify relevant teams about orientation schedules; attend corporate meetings and location staff meetings; assist with professional hire coordination; support location enterprise initiatives; cross-train in learning duties and provide coverage for other locations; facilitate orientation; perform other duties as assigned.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple competing tasks and demands.
Office environment with regular visits to the production/warehouse floor; may require travel to other locations.
Physical Requirements- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
- Bilingual preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred; equivalent work experience considered.
- 2+ years of relevant work experience providing HR administrative support preferred.
Shift: 1ST SHIFT (United States of America).
Pay Range: $23.08 - $38.46 per hour.

Additional compensation may be available for this position based on shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonuses. Pay is just one part of Tyson's total compensation package.
