Administrator Sales

Job Summary

This position is responsible for assisting Sales Account Managers with large volume retail service accounts of beef and pork. The role includes entering and processing all types of customer orders accurately, maintaining price lists, confirming order fills, tracking deliveries, completing management performance reports, handling field calls and managing all incoming calls. The person will also build strong relationships with internal and external customers and perform other administrative duties as assigned.

• Enter and process all types of customer orders accurately.
• Enter and maintain price lists.
• Check and confirm order fill and changes with customers.
• Maintain customized customer process lists accurately.
• Track deliveries by working with customer service and relay pertinent information.
• Aid in completing various management performance reports.
• Handle field calls from customers and obtain necessary information for the manager to address.
• Cross‑train with other Sales Administrators and fill in for them when absent.
• Manage all incoming calls.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in a business environment, preferably distribution customer service.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of the Tyson Business Computer System preferred.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong judgment, prioritization, and coordination skills.
• Teamwork skills and strong work ethic.
• Professional demeanor and phone etiquette.
• Highly motivated, detail‑oriented, and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
