- Coordinate the daily operations of assigned classes.
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing weekly lessons.
- Provide a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment for children.
- Work directly with children and parents daily to provide quality customer service.
- Feel a sense of accomplishment as you experience the laughter and wonder of children participating in activities you planned.
- Observe children’s interests and work with other teachers to develop creative ideas for an engaging curriculum.
- Communicate with parents daily, sharing children’s latest adventures and achievements through a variety of avenues.
- Engage with other childcare professionals and continue to grow professionally.
- High School diploma required.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Child Development Associate is preferred.
- 1–2 years of previous experience in a licensed childcare setting preferred.
- Ability to help implement engaging and developmentally appropriate lesson plans.
- Develop relationships and communicate effectively with children, parents, and faculty members.
- Ability to calmly address stressful situations professionally while multitasking to ensure smooth school operations.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. when handling children; infants must be liftable into/out of a crib.
- Meets background check eligibility.
