We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Engineer to join our Operations Team working on Data Center, Vehicle Manufacturing, or General Build Construction projects.

Responsibilities

Project Execution: Ensure project engineering activities comply with company and contract requirements and support the construction schedule. Provide technical support including construction planning, design interpretation, application of construction methods, resolving design conflicts, constructability reviews, and shop drawing processing. Develop and administer project engineering procedures and documents.

Budget Management: Monitor expenditure, track financial progress, and ensure costs stay within budget. Identify cost-saving opportunities and strategies.

Resource Management: Foster a collaborative environment, guide team members, manage project engineering personnel, and coordinate with on-site departments to resolve issues and ensure quality.

Risk Management: Represent the company in meetings with A/E, clients, and project management.

Technical Support: Serve as the key technical person on projects, possibly managing small to medium projects.

Qualifications

4-year engineering degree or equivalent technical training and experience.
Minimum of 5 years of construction engineering experience.
Advanced knowledge of construction engineering technology, codes, standards, and interdependent functional units.

Preferred Skills

Excellent communication and organizational skills for cross-functional coordination.
Ability to implement management strategies to improve project and employee performance.

Skills and Attributes for Success

Technical knowledge of construction and engineering processes, procurement, project controls, and contract management.
Proficiency in budget management, financial forecasting, and resource allocation.
Experience in risk assessment and mitigation.
Adaptability to fast-paced, changing environments.

Location:

Remote in the US with willingness to travel long-term to client sites.
