Innovation Finance Manager
The Innovation Finance Manager position within the Growth Finance organization is responsible for reporting, analytics, and financial governance supporting the R&D, Innovation, and Growth leadership teams. This role enables enterprise innovation execution by driving financial discipline, ensuring data integrity, and providing actionable insights across the innovation portfolio.
The candidate will demonstrate strong finance business partnership relationship with Innovation, R&D and other Growth Org. leaders, working closely with Business Units, R&D, and Corporate F&A to manage financial performance across approximately 600 active projects. This role ensures alignment of innovation investments with enterprise growth, profitability, and strategic objectives through robust reporting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Own the Enterprise Innovation Metric Scorecard and reporting
- Deliver weekly and monthly innovation reporting across segments
- Maintain financial alignment across approximately 600 innovation projects
- Partner with Business Unit Finance to standardize assumptions and reporting
- Manage Innovation SKU master data
- Partner on AOP, LE, and strategic planning
- Serve as finance partner to the Innovation team including Monthly Reviews, AOP, and ad hoc analysis
- Support PLM/CIR implementation (FY27–FY29)
- Drive cross-functional alignment across the Innovation lifecycle
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. MBA preferred.
Experience:
5+ years of finance experience, preferably in FP&A or innovation/project-based finance.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Experience with financial modeling, reporting tools (Excel, Power BI), and large datasets. SAP AFE Query experience, PBI report building, and strong AI skills are a plus
Strong communication skills and ability to partner cross-functionally.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
