The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a strategic partner whose role is to optimize Arisa Health's performance. The CFO manages organization-wide financial functions and key finance associates, including payroll, accounting, banking, accounts payable, revenue cycle management, contract management, 401k management, and insurance products.
The CFO is responsible for all finance-related functions and monthly reports for the parent organization and affiliate organizations. This position directs the preparation of the fiscal year budget, monthly financial reports, and financial forecasting for the parent organization and affiliate companies. This position plays a key role in risk management by ensuring appropriate financial policies and practices are developed and followed with internal controls and risk management in mind.
The CFO maintains banking relationships, serves as staff liaison for the Finance Committee of the Board of Directors and is a collaborative member of the Executive Leadership Team.
What the Chief Financial Officer will do- Oversee organization-wide financial strategy, leadership, management, reporting, compliance, and internal controls
- Accurately and timely manage client billing and collections, including the Charitable Care Fund
- Oversee payroll, accounts payable, accounting functions, and all external financial reporting requirements
- Oversee accounting compliance for grants
- Ensure commercial payer contracts are competitive
- Work closely with the Chief Legal Officer and Senior Vice President of Facilities to ensure complete and competitive insurance coverage
- Collaborate with the 401k vendor and ensure compliance with 401k audit requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
- Five or more years of experience in related field required
- Experience in healthcare finance, non-profit finance, or a multi-entity organization preferred
- Proven leadership and supervisory experience
- Proficiency with financial management systems and Microsoft Office applications
