Finance Accounting Leadership Role

This position is a Finance Accounting leadership role that provides financial and business leadership while ensuring good stewardship within the Poultry Business Unit. This position reports directly to the Sr. Director of Finance Accounting and has dotted-line responsibility to the respective Business Unit.

Daily and weekly duties and responsibilities may include:

• Plant operations financial support, product costing, reporting and analysis;
• Plant operations variance reporting and analysis;
• Business unit sales financial support, margin reporting and analysis;
• Business unit sales accrual, SG&A expense and rate management reporting; business unit volume, mix and capacity reporting and analysis;
• Business unit inventory reporting and analysis;
• Business unit sales and operations balance sheet management, reconciliation, reporting and analysis;
• Business unit sales operations financial metric scorecard reporting and analysis;
• Business unit category and customer pricing analysis;
• Continual business process improvement identification and implementation;
• Other responsibilities may include business unit quarterly projection preparation and analysis;
  Annual Plan and Strategic Plan preparation and reporting, including business unit capital budgets; support as needed for capital project preparation, analysis and reporting; managing and developing a group of financial managers; ensuring proper internal control and SOX compliance within the Business Unit; and other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Education:
  
  Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting or Finance required.
• Experience:
  
  10+ years of experience preferred, including previous accounting supervisory experience.
• Computer
  
  Skills:
  
  Standard computer skills required.
• Communication
  
  Skills:
  
  Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of business management and Finance & Accounting staff.
• Supervisory Responsibilities:
  
  Position is responsible for supervising and interacting with varying levels of Finance & Accounting and business management personnel.
• Travel:
  Four or more domestic trips per year.
