Job Description

This is a 13-week contract position.

Nights: 18:00 - 06:30

The Respiratory Therapist, either registered or certified by the National Board of Respiratory Care, will provide comprehensive Cardiopulmonary Services. This position involves following protocols approved by the medical staff and department policy to deliver prompt diagnostic and therapeutic services to both inpatients and outpatients.

• Assisting physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures
• Delivery of medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas
• Airway maintenance and management
• Ventilator management and support
• Insertion of arterial lines and intubations
• Conducting pulmonary function studies and cardiac/pulmonary stress tests
• Performing blood gas analyses

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Respiratory Therapy
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Active state license as an RRT or CRT with the National Board of Respiratory Care
