Respiratory Therapist - GIG​/Flex​/Per Diem​/PRN - Fort Smith, ARandSurroundingCommunities

Position Overview

Perform direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care, according to physician's orders. Consult physicians on effectiveness of therapy. Act as an advanced resource person for physicians and nursing on respiratory care. Perform duties as assigned.

• Location:
  
  Mercy Hospital Rogers, Fort Smith, Berryville, and surrounding communities
• Role: RRT and CRT GIG
• Compensation: $35/hr for RRT, $30/hr for CRT plus variable shift incentive
• Shift types: 4, 8, or 12 hour shifts available; no weekend, holiday, or shift requirement; flexible day/night; pick up shift as needed.
• Employment: W-2 employee

• Education:
  
  Graduate of a COARC approved respiratory care program.
• Licensure:
  Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license and meets state licensure requirements.
• Certifications:
  
  Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential awarded by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). PALS required for ER; ACLS required.
• Experience:
  
  Minimum one year of experience (orientation time not included). Prefer critical care experience.
• Physical demands:
  Ability to push, pull, grip up to 50 lbs, pinch up to 10 lbs, kneel, crouch, crawl minimally.
