  Weekends as needed
• Entry-level to II level progression with experience, call rotation participation, and competency on multiple treatment systems (iX, Truebeam, Halcyon, Brain Lab, Vision RT, CT Sim)

• Perform quality radiation treatments and procedures within practice standards.
• Follow radiation safety precautions and departmental guidelines.
• Maintain high standards of professional performance and appearance.
• Complete required documentation of patient procedures and chart accuracy.
• Maintain precise patient skin markings and record any setup changes.
• Maintain constant audio and visual contact with the patient during treatment or procedures.
• Complete quality assurance procedures for each machine.
• Assist or oversee other staff as needed; collaborate with physicians to ensure patient care.
• Schedule patients and manage daily therapy unit schedules.
• Capture accurate patient treatment charges and physician oversight.
• Relieve or assist other radiation therapists as time and scheduling permit.
• Maintain organized and clean work areas, including treatment rooms.
• Attend departmental meetings and participate in processes; complete annual skills competencies and training.
• Maintain compliance with patient privacy and organizational policies.
• Flexibility to work at Highlands locations and participate in call rotation for weekends/holidays.
• Other duties as assigned by Lead Therapist, Supervisor, Director, or Providers.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and etiquette via phone and computer.
• Adaptability to new technology, processes, and schedules.
• Open-minded and able to think creatively.
• Multitask and work in multiple EMR systems.
• Strong computer skills and attention to detail.

• Holds a current license from the Arkansas Department of Health in Radiation Therapy.
• Temporary license must be obtained within 6 months of hire date.
• Graduate of an approved school of Radiation Therapy Technology.
• ARRT certification obtained within 6 months of hire date.
• Maintain all professional continuing education and licensure requirements.
• ARIA software experience preferred.

• Reaching, bending, sitting, standing, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Assisting patients from wheelchairs and transferring from stretchers.
• Some repetitive motions; standing and walking for extended periods.
• Moderate time at a computer workstation; repetitive motions with computer and phone use.

• Safety-sensitive environment; comply with safety culture and radiation/hazardous chemical procedures.
