additional information:a senior mri technologist is an expert technologist with the ability to perform quality mri exams in a safe and timely manner, while providing excellent patient care. May serve as a preceptor to other staff members. May act as lead when lead mri technologist is out.
required education:associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college program or technical school or nursing diploma
recommended education:bachelor's degree from four-year college or university
required work experience:direct - 6 years of experience
recommended work experience:direct - pediatric
required certifications:1 of the following license or registry is required
recommended certifications:arrt – mri specialist - american registry of radiology technologist (arrt), mri technician certification - american registry of magnetic resonance imaging technologists (armrit)
