required education:associate degree or equivalent experience

required certifications:medical laboratory technician (mlt) - ascp - ascp, must obtain within one year - must obtain within one year
description- 1. Assists with research, development, and/or validation of new policies, procedures and/or instruments.
- 2. Manages stock levels, rotation, and monitors expiration.
- 3. Performs laboratory procedures and calculates, transcribes and records test results.
- 4. Prepares and manages specimens for analysis, refers results to pathology, correlates results and communicates and documents findings.
- 5. Performs manual result review and proficiency testing.
- 6. Performs maintenance procedures on laboratory instruments and/or equipment.
- 7. Performs other duties as assigned.
