Management Level P3 Learning Specialist
This position is responsible for conducting new Team Member orientation, ensuring comprehensive understanding of Tyson policies and procedures. This role involves facilitating various learning courses, including code of conduct training, animal well-being training, lockout/tagout, and forklift training support. Additionally, the Learning Specialist will support the delivery of leadership development programs and skills training for plant Team Members, as well as provide support for the Upward Academy initiative.
The Learning Specialist will collect and analyze survey feedback to identify improvement opportunities and propose solutions. Regular interaction with HR, operations, management support, and hourly Team Members is essential to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Responsibilities Include:
- Conduct and continually improve classroom learning experience for Team Members.
- Ensure all new Team Member documentation is completed in a timely manner and submitted correctly.
- Identify language barriers and assess the need for interpreters to ensure clarity and effective communication is provided to Team Members during learning.
- Assist in acclimating new Team Members to the facility and the qualification process.
- This position will be backup for our Hiring team.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Education:
High School graduate or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred. Equivalent work experience to be considered in lieu of higher education. - Experience:
2+ years of professional experience required Previous training and facilitation experience preferred. HR administrative skills preferred. - Computer
Skills:
Standard computer skills – Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. - Communication
Skills:
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills. Must be able to speak, read and write English at a level to effectively communicate company policies and procedures during orientation. - Bilingual preferred
- Special
Skills:
Operations and Manufacturing experience preferred. Must be comfortable in presenting learning material to large groups. Strong organizational skills. - Travel: 1-5 domestic trips per year.

Pay Range/Rate: $23.08 - $38.46
