Industry/Sector Not Applicable Specialism Assurance Management Level Intern/Trainee Job Description & Summary The Opportunity As a Fayetteville - DAT - Intern, you will engage in a dynamic learning environment, gaining exposure to PwC's practices and methodologies within our Assurance practice. You will support teams by participating in projects and conducting research, contributing to the success of the team while developing your personal brand.

As an Intern, you will focus on learning and gaining exposure, supporting teams with basic tasks, and observing professional work environments. You will have the opportunity to apply a learning mindset, appreciate diverse perspectives, and actively listen to enhance your understanding and skills. In this role at PwC, you will be part of a team that provides independent and objective assessments, upholding transparency, integrity, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

You will be encouraged to ask questions, take initiative, and produce quality work that adds value for our clients. This experience will help you build commercial awareness and understand how the business operates, paving the way for future opportunities.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting audit teams in conducting independent evaluations of financial reporting and decision-making processes
  • Participating in the application of auditing methodologies to uphold transparency, integrity, and compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Observing and learning from experienced auditors to gain exposure to PwC's practices and methodologies
  • Assisting in the development and deployment of cloud engineering solutions to enhance audit processes
  • Engaging in basic tasks and research to contribute to the team's success and client support initiatives
  • Applying a learning mindset to understand and implement compliance and governance protocols
  • Gathering information from various sources to analyze facts and discern patterns in financial data
  • Collaborating with team members to uphold ethical standards and promote responsible behavior within the organization
What You Must Have
  • Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields of study:
    Accounting, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer and Information Science, Information Technology
  • At least a 3.0 overall GPA
  • Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment or the educational requirements for licensure as a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
  • Client service intern positions are considered entry-level roles. Candidates are typically in their third year of a four-year degree program or fourth year of a five-year program at the time of application

Salary

The salary range for this position is: $29.25 - $48.00. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
